Verdict

Charlie Hills saddles three of the four fillies running in this but Easy To Dream and Grey Sparkle have some improving to do and White Lady makes her debut, though there have some big-priced winners of this in recent years. Marlay Park, one of two from the Hannon stable, is the obvious one after seconds at Salisbury and Newmarket but didn’t threaten the winner on either occasion while Ascot runner-up Twilight Calls hasn’t been finding much off the bridle. Brian Meehan’s juveniles are always worth a second look here if the market speaks in their favour and TACITUS is a brother to a winning miler in Ireland with Oisin Murphy a significant jockey booking. Mutasallem was very green when last at Sandown and is preferred to Windsor third Whenthedealinsdone.
