Verdict

More Than Munny made an encouraging debut over the track and trip last month then showed the benefit when coming with a late burst to score over 6f a fortnight later. But ROMAN IMPERO has improved with each run and was always travelling like a winner when landing a track and trip maiden last month. He's taken to go in again as Turbine, who made a successful debut on Tapeta at Wolverhampton in November, could only finish fourth in one of these qualifiers at Lingfield a week later. Mark Johnston has a fine strike-rate in Ireland but is probably sending his charge here to qualify for the Final. Lex Talionis is obviously well regarded as his first three starts were at Group 2 level, though he finished last in them all.
