Cape Explorer made most and battled on when headed over 1m2f last month but this looks tougher. SIR RASTON is tried in blinkers after a close fourth behind Temasek Star over the track and trip a fortnight ago where he was staying on strongly. He's still a maiden but hasn't had much experience and is taken to reverse form with the winner and runner-up Brokopondo. Gun Shoot has only produced two moderate runs over further than 1m2f but Ondamoura has been in good form over the course and distance and can be expected to go well again. Locus Standi is also a maiden but his recent close second to Poitin suggests it won't be long before he's winning.
