Half of these have won on the track including Nimitz, who landed the race a year ago and is only 4lb higher despite scoring again at Leopardstown. Acclamatio was well supported when sent to Musselburgh last time but fluffed his lines and was well beaten in his three earlier starts on this track. LUSIS NATUREA found 2m2f much too far at Down Royal but had been in fine form over this sort of trip earlier and his promising rider's claim can help him past the post. Itsalonglongroad won a Ballinrobe maiden in July but has been beaten a long way in two subsequent starts, the latest over hurdles.
