Algeria, runner-up on her debut here in November, was well supported to go one better last month but didn't find the expected improvement. Kokura showed a bit of potential on his second start at the Curragh and came here last month for a course and distance maiden. He finished first past the post that day but was disqualified after causing interference and should make a bold bid for compensation. Three Sevens was a 33/1 chance on his debut here last month but ran much better than those odds would have suggested, staying on nicely over 7f. UBUME caught the eye behind Mr Mooj three weeks ago and normal improvement can see him land this.
