Cresendo hasn't run since winning a handicap over a mile here in December and could find this on the short side. Arbourfield gained his fourth victory on the track in February though couldn't quite hang on in a claimer last month but Shabra Emperor is in excellent shape at present and will take some beating. The eight-year-old won here in November and returned to action with an emphatic victory last month so a 6lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent another big run. However, SHELBE (NAP) has been making very good progress and followed up her victory over 1m2f here in November by coming with a late bust to score over the minimum trip last week. There are few who could match that sort of versatility and she can gain her third victory over what should be a more suitable trip.
