Verdict
CROSS BORDER had been running well on Turf before paying his first visit here last month where he just failed to concede 5lb to the winner. He can go one better as First Gentleman had been reasonably consistent before a couple of moderate runs and makes his track debut. Never Cry Never finished in front of the latter at Navan and wasn't beaten far in a course and distance maiden later. Reinforce has had enough chances and Pro Bono Alexander was well beaten at Naas last August though he's moved to an in-form yard.
