      Verdict

      The superbly-bred Empress Of Rome has been well beaten on soft ground on both starts but the fact that she's being persevered with suggests there's still some hope and it wouldn't be a shock to see a big run. AKINSPIRIT has won twice here and made a fine reappearance behind Shake The Bucket earlier this month. He's closely matched with Silverlord on a line through the winner but should have benefited enough from his first start since October to take this. Silverlord finished in front of Chebono Bula when they met recently and both hold Solid Air on that run.
