LILANDRA was only caught in the closing stages after making the running at Fairyhouse and the winner, Theophile, went on to land a Leopardstown handicap. Ger Lyons' filly looks the one to beat though Crystal Dawn has won twice here in recent weeks and Sam Ewing's claim can see her in the firing-line. Royal Highness gained her only victory to date in a track and trip maiden but she's been competing in stiff handicaps. Mary Salome has been well beaten in her last two starts but was only beaten a short-head in a Killarney handicap in July while Highly Approved has won three times around here and can never be dismissed.
