Jackmel went up 6lb for scoring over a mile here then scrambled home over today's track and trip for which he's up another 4lb. Make A Promise got off the mark over 6f at Tipperary and was due to run over that trip in the 3.40 at Navan yesterday. Scherzando had been in fine form on Turf before making a winning debut on this track over a mile three weeks ago when just holding on. He's up 6lb and had earlier been a length-and-a-half behind EVERYHOURONTHEHOUR at Gowran and the winner is 6lb better off. Sam Ewing's mount missed the break when favourite behind Jackmel last time and can gain compensation. Never Back Down is on a very long losing run.
