        Verdict

        Jimtown was conceding Aquilonius 9lb when just in front of him here last month and though the latter has since run well behind Banner Road over 7f the placings should be confirmed on the same terms. Hugenot, who finished behind in that latter event, was staying on strongly at the finish and with the extra furlong in his favour he could go well at a fair price. BEAT THE BALLOT was described as a late developer after winning a maiden over the C&D a couple of weeks ago and though facing a much stiffer task he has more scope than most of these and is handed the vote to complete a quick double. Dermot Weld tries Temuco in blinkers on his handicap debut and he showed a little more promise at Down Royal last time.
