Verdict

Zipperty looked certain to complete a double when taking the lead inside the final furlong last time but had no answer when Danz Gift burst through to win going away. The latter was gaining his seventh course victory though an 8lb rise makes this much more difficult. Early Call had been beaten almost 3 lengths by Zipperty earlier but has an 8lb pull taken jockey claims into consideration. All three are better drawn than LEQUINTO but Wayne Lordan's mount was well supported when impressing over 6f here last week. He has a 6lb penalty to carry and takes on older horses for the first time but can complete a quick double. The bottom pair are running into form but face very stiff tasks from their outside berths.
