In depth

Verdict

Sports Casual hasn't raced over a trip this short since his debut in 2006 and it was over 1m3f when he ran very well behind Little Bug on this track two weeks ago. Captain Henry wasn't far behind on that occasion and with a 3lb pull over a more suitable trip he has a chance of reversing the form. Philosophers Guest is generally on the premises but is 12lb higher than for his only career victory at Ballinrobe in June. KENTON STREET is still a maiden after 25 starts so is hardly one to have a great deal of faith in though he has gone well on this surface in the past and looks on a reasonable enough mark to gain that elusive first success.
