In depth

Verdict

Rigid Rock steered a wide path to gain a very easy victory on soft ground at Bellewstown last month but an 8lb rise in the ratings looks harsh. BIG BAD LILY is 1lb lower than for her latest success which came on this track a year ago and she's been running well enough to suggest she can gain her second victory on the track. Amour Fou has never won here but Johnny Murtagh's presence in the saddle is a bonus while championship leader Joseph O'Brien will ensure Jouster gets a good run. Calm Bay will do well to repeat his July C&D victory under a massive weight and though Statue Of Dreams has the form to win this he has a shocking record on the track reaching a place just once in a dozen starts.
