Connacht Council had her first three runs on this surface a year ago, running well in the last of them, and was very consistent in handicaps on Turf during the summer. Tony Carroll sends Ocean Legend over from Worcester and he isn't known for wasting journeys though the nine-year-old has been beaten in sellers and claimers recently. Cheers Buddy won twice over a mile here at the backend of last year but didn't quite have the pace to match Hilary from his higher mark three weeks ago.
