Verdict
Romeo's On Fire won at Laytown a year ago but couldn't repeat the process in a claimer there a couple of weeks ago and this looks tougher. Daring Man made a winning racecourse debut over 5f here in 2008 but hasn't won since in 39 starts. He's been staying on over 7f but those statistics suggest he's one to avoid. Crystal Wings is still a maiden though he's only had eight starts and looks to be improving though his two runs on this track have produced poor efforts. Lady Lyrath is another who hasn't shown much on Polytrack though she would have a fine chance if repeating her recent form on heavy ground. ELUSIVE EXPRESS finally got off the mark at the 20th time of asking at Down Royal a fortnight ago and even with a 3lb rise should be good enough to follow-up, especially with his rider's claim negating the extra.
