In depth

Verdict

SPARRING PARTNER has plenty of weight but gets the vote as he's the only one of these to have won on the track and his recent run on soft ground at the Curragh should be ignored. Rusty Halo is better over further while Apache Drums is better on testing ground and makes his debut on the surface. Single Lady won a poor Kempton handicap earlier this month but at least acts on Polytrack as does Cinderella Story, who has run well here without winning. Swing Pattern has been disappointing and Capacity is still a maiden after 23 career starts.
