Jewelled followed a 7l second over 1m2f at Newbury with an all-the-way success over this trip in a four-runner affair on Polytrack at Lingfield for which she's only been raised 1lb. Soul Intent ran his best race for some time over this trip at Newmarket in May so it was a surprise to see him drop back two furlongs at Nottingham where he looked one-paced. Granell was having his first start over this trip at Goodwood last month but showed no improvement for it but Nave won a course and distance handicap a year ago from a 4lb higher mark so should go well. COLINCA'S LAD won this in 2012 and scored at Yarmouth around this time a year ago. He doesn't mind any ground conditions and with regular partner Rosie Jessop able to claim 3lb he's taken to come out on top again.
