          Verdict

          Law Commission is well in to the veteran stage of his career but has solid claims if turned out quickly having finished a close runner-up at Salisbury 24 hours earlier. The 12-year-old is on a very fair mark and has a favourable low draw so looks sure to go well if recovering from yesterday's exertions. Zhitomir is another on a winning mark and shaped as though he was on the way back when third over this course and distance last time while Scarrottoo is not without claims on his Folkestone win over this trip in July. The lightly raced Perchance To Win and recent Lingfield winner Telori are others to consider in a difficult finale.
