A smashing renewal of Britain's second-oldest Classic, and the premier middle-distance race during the season for three-year-old fillies. With the going easing, the Sagitta 1,000 Guineas winner Kazzia has come in for support as she looks to become the first filly since Salsabil in 1990 to land the Classic double. She holds good claims. The Musidora Stakes winner Islington is also primed to run a big race. Snowfire, second in the 1,000 Guineas, and Quarter Moon, fifth, should both run well - the last-named looking like the best of Aidan O'Brien's four runners. The lightly-raced Lupe Stakes winner, Mellow Park, the Pretty Polly Stakes winner, Esloob, and her stalemate, the Cheshire Oaks winner, Shadow Dancing, can all be given chances. The Musidora Stakes runner-up, Spinnette, although still a maiden, is reported to be in good form. An excellent race with the winner possibly coming from either Kazzia or Islington.
