      Verdict

      Amalfi Bay was battling on over just short of this trip at Haydock but was engaged in the 3.05 at Yarmouth yesterday. Saulire Star, narrowly beaten over this trip at Wolverhampton, finished tailed off over 1m6f at Yarmouth after leading to the straight. Sisu hasn't shown much and steps up in trip as does NIGHT EAGLE. The latter ran on to lead close home over 1m2f at Bath and wasn't suited by fast ground on a return visit last month so gets the nod. Gyenyame looked a stayer when runner-up over 1m6f on the latter track but ran poorly over that trip at Sandown.
