          Verdict

          George Stubbs stepped up on previous efforts this term when given a positive ride to run out an impressive five-length winner of a Ripon claimer last time. The Paul Cole-trained four-year-old remains on a fair mark and can take advantage of his low draw to follow up. Fortune Point has been most consistent and has finished in the money on his last six starts but now looks high enough in the weights while Pay The Silver may find this on the sharp side. The lightly raced Durandana rates an obvious danger after a staying-on third over 7f at Haydock last time when finding trouble in running.
