In depth
Verdict
Sasheen holds Hotfoot on their Windsor meeting and remains capable of better as that came on the back of a lengthy absence, but the form of the race doesn't appear strong and the pair may find FORK LIGHTNING too good. Sir Mark Prescott's filly seemed to improve for taking to turf last time out and this return to a mile is certain to suit. It's interesting that connections are persevering with the maiden route and that decision can be rewarded with a victory. Of the remainder, Shamardal Phantom makes most appeal after taking third at Ascot on debut. The form of that contest hasn't really been tested but she's a half-sister to the smart Shamwari Lodge, who has placed on ground with cut, and David Simcock's filly should improve upon what was an encouraging start. Mexican Deb was further back that day but she's capable of better and could run a big race at an each-way price.
