    Verdict

This closing event is likely to rest between the topweight Extremist and Sir Mark Prescott's Dafne. Extremist got off the mark at Brighton last time and looks to be going the right way now, but the concession of a stone to Dafne could prove his undoing. Dafne was only just run out of it at Bath last week having also scored at Brighton earlier in the term and in receipt of plenty of weight should take the beating. The others look basically moderate with Deco Star and Tarkwa most likely to fight it out for a place.
