Verdict

Freddy With A Y is capable of winning this claimer but hasn't beaten a rival home the last twice, albeit in better company, which does diminish confidence in his chance. Ocean Legend goes to post for the 116th time but still retains enthusiasm and the ability to put his head in front where it matters as he seeks a 17th success. He is respected in more ways than one. Richard Hannon fields a pair of the yard's lesser lights with Jupiter Custos presumably stable preferred with Hughes aboard. However, DELUXE has displayed one or two pieces of form which catch the eye and rates a value option under Mitch Godwin, 2-12 in his first season in the saddle and creating a good initial impression.
