In depth

Verdict

No recent winning form on offer in an open handicap but Top Cop , whilst a shadow of his former self, went well enough at Bath last week to get involved here but HIT THE LIGHTS also showed up prominently at the same venue recently when a fast-closing second to Captain Ryan. He may well have won but for a tardy stalls exit and looks the safest option as he's performing well in general of late. Chester Deelyte hasn't scored since 2011 but latest efforts put her in here with solid claims, alongside Very Fair Blade, another not running too badly at present.
