    Verdict

Peak Storm scored for the first time for nearly two years when inching home here last time but cannot be ruled out on this follow-up attempt as all five career victories have come at this venue. Edward Greatrex's claim offsets the penalty for that success and he should go well, likewise Gypsy Rider, who also has a penalty to contend with after landing a Brighton seller. KNIGHT OF THE AIR was a beaten warm favourite in a strangely messy race at Lingfield on Tuesday but still looks the one to beat if those exertions have not had a negative effect which presumably is not the case with Mick Channon turning him out so quickly. He'd previously been steadily progressive at a lowly level and deserves another chance after just half a dozen starts. Spirit in Time has place claims in receipt of weight all round.
