Verdict

Shabeeb hasn’t been the easiest to keep right and was having his first start since last summer when fifth in a Class 2 handicap at Newcastle. He wouldn’t want any further rain but there was plenty of cut when ROYAL LINE landed a double last year and John Gosden’s unexposed colt will have come on for last month’s reappearance in a conditions race at Doncaster. C'Est No Mour was progressive last year and won twice over track and trip. But along with Golden Wolf, he found Whinging Willie too good here in October and the latter finished a well beaten second in last year’s renewal. Fire Fighting beat Fearsome at Lingfield in March while Shabbah is reunited with Ryan Moore having only his second start for new connections and could go well.
