In depth
Verdict
Another race where there will be no hanging about as both Castleshane and Football Crazy like to force a solid pace on the racecourse. However, they may just set things up for Adjawar, who goes very well at this track, and Hughie Morrison's charge just edges a narrow vote. Pay The Silver may find this grade of competition beyond him for win only purposes and like Ravenglass, who may find things happening a little too quickly, is passed over today for the main prize today. Bringing us back to Adjawar, who seems to reserve his best for this track and again has plenty in his favour today. The gelding is adaptable with regard to a style of running but seems best when able to attach himself on the back of a strong pace. The framing of the race also gives him a solid chance at the weights and Adjawar is taken to force his head in front close home.
