        Verdict

        Northern raider Sporting Gesture is an interesting runner, especially as he will be wearing blinkers for the first time. Tarboosh was flattered by his win last time, as he had a soft lead in front, while Analyze is normally one to oppose. The locally trained Burgundy looks sure to be involved in the shake up, but Parisien Star, who turns out quickly following his sound effort at Newmarket on Saturday, gets the vote. He needs producing late and with Tarboosh playing the role as hare, he should have the race run to suit.
