Crossed Baton won the Blue Riband Trial here last year and was later second in a Group 3 at Royal Ascot. he’ll be looking to get among the two Godolphin runners with only 4lb separating the three runners on official ratings. Setting Sail is top rated with solid form in handicaps this season but DESERT FIRE is better than he showed on good to soft at Doncaster last time and could upset the apple cart.
