Verdict
Al Jellaby has been lightly campaigned this season but didn’t appear to get home over this trip at Goodwood last time when finishing four lengths adrift of BATHSHEBA BAY. He’s only a pound better even though Richard Hannon’s consistent colt has since won in the grade at Windsor – the latter can follow up. Course and distance winner Liva failed to cope with a weight rise at Newmarket subsequently but The Emperor Within is running well and Bid Adieu got back to winning ways at Brighton earlier this month. El Borracho won at Windsor last month but may be better over a bit further nowadays.
