    Verdict

Three of these won their latest starts including the veteran Berrahri, who also landed this contest last year. Stablemate Torbellino beat only two rivals when easily winning at Brighton and is upped in class along with Heat And Dust, who bids for a hat-trick having scored with plenty in hand at Catterick despite the narrow winning margin. SCAMPI has yet to win a handicap but this is much easier than his latest task at Ascot and the return to today’s longer trip will suit Andrew Balding’s charge. Hayedo has won over hurdles this year and returns to the Flat having placed at Longchamp when trained in France.
