Verdict
Misty Dancer gets a solid shout in the opener, with the best of the rest suggested as Prime Powered, Stolen Hours and Northside Lodge. Based on his course and distance win last time, when he absolutely bolted up, Misty Dancer is hard to get away from under just a five-pound penalty. Last summer's form gives Prime Powered a clear chance, while Stolen Hours remains competitive for a place based on recent form, and he comes here in pretty good heart. Desert Island Disc has dropped to a winning mark but we've said that for her last four runs now, while Northside Lodge is another that can be fancied on last summer's form. Blackmail runs here under a penalty after winning at Brighton, so holds something of a chance, while the German winner Charleston Lover showed promise over a shorter trip at Newbury last time, and Most-Saucy is weighted to win again, but it is very hard to get away from Misty Dancer, who gets a solid vote.
