Verdict
GIOVANNI DI BICCI has done all of his winning so far on Polytrack but a first victory on Turf looked imminent when he was second to Cricklewood Green at Brighton and he holds Good Luck Charm on that run. Exoplanet Blue is the obvious danger after getting back to winning ways at Salisbury. He's 6lb higher now but George Wood's claim takes care of most of that. The recent wins of Nouvelli Dancer and Ripoll came on the all-weather but they can't be ignored and make more appeal than Swiss Cross, who had to go to Jersey to end his long losing run.
