        Verdict

        There's little between these on official ratings. Beatrice Aurore is capable at this level but hard to win with and was no match for Thistle Bird at Ascot last July. The latter will have come on for her reappearance behind Dank at Newmarket but collateral form suggests Ladys First is a better option in this after a recent third in a Group 2 over a longer trip at York. She finished just ahead of STARSCOPE on that occasion but last year's Coronation Stakes runner-up is expected to reverse running back over a mile and John Gosden's filly won't be inconvenienced if further rain arrives. Sentaril is proven over today's trip unlike Ultrasonic while the French-trained Ighraa makes most appeal of the three-year-olds but that age group have a poor record in this.
