Verdict
A tough looking finale in which the vote narrowly goes to Caught In The Dark, who gets the verdict over Aegean Magic and Among Friends. The selection is not always easy to catch right and disappointed at Kempton last time but she has ground conditions to suit and, in a tricky contest, looks worth chancing. Aegean Magic may now be in the grip of the handicapper and a bigger threat may come from Among Friends, who has slipped to an attractive mark and tackles six furlongs on turf for the first time since his two-year-old days. Val de Maal and Kew The Music are others to consider but we are happy to stick with Caught In The Dark.
