In depth

Verdict

SOUTHFIELD ROYALE (NAP) attempts to keep his unbeaten record intact and may well do so. He beat a couple of subsequent winners when winning at Fontwell on his hurdling debut and Tony McCoy remains in the saddle. Brigadier Miller returned from a lengthy absence with a good effort at Huntingdon last month and makes more appeal than More Buck's, who has returned a losing favourite on his last two starts now. Altesse De Guye still had every chance when falling at the last at Uttoxeter on her hurdling bow and War Sound is a newcomer to keep an eye on.
