In depth

Verdict

Down's Folly was most impressive last time and can follow up this afternoon, Star Member and Silkwood Top may provide most danger. Henry Daly's six-year-old had a ding dong battle with Sunday City in a very competitive handicap at Doncaster and although penalised for that success he can go in again in this weaker looking contest. Star Member also returned to the winners enclosure last time, comfortably beating a decent field at at Market Rasen. The handicapper has taken note, but he should still be a tough nut to crack. Silkwood Top meanwhile comes here after beating Kadam at Windsor in December. He has to be respected with Mick Fitzgerald on board. Best of the rest could be Petwick, but off his current mark Down's Folly will be hard to beat and he gets our vote.
