    Verdict

Taroum proved ultimately disappointing on the Flat for John Oxx but hinted that he might have a future over hurdles when third at Ffos Las on his first start for Evan Williams. The drop in distance might suit but ANAYA looks the one to beat here. David Bourton's filly was the only one to make a race of it with Spiritual Art at Newton Abbot last month and should get off the mark if ridden with more restraint today. Ladies Best won three times on the Flat but has already been beaten in sellers over timber and a place is probably the best he can hope for again here.
