In depth
Verdict
Spring Wolf and Pink Gin are both confirmed front-runners and could take each other on. That would suit a hold-up horse like Lithic but the top weight is proving hard to catch right and has gone up 4lb since finishing second at Uttoxeter. THE OGLE GOGLE MAN wasn’t disgraced in his hat-trick bid at Chepstow and both victories have come under today’s jockey so he is taken to resume winning ways. Garrane was second over a longer trip here in December before pulling up at Wincanton while Bobo Mac could run well back over fences off what is potentially a lenient mark.
