Verdict

Pacco stays well but was found wanting off a career-high mark at Wetherby last month. Flight Leader carries a lot of weight considering he's still a maiden over fences, while Irish raider Ten Fires also looks to high enough in the handicap and has his stamina to prove over this marathon trip. Shakingd Hands should go well, however, having looked a shade unlucky when falling on his reappearance. David Pipe's seven-year-old was a ready winner over 3m2f at Warwick in January and Tom Scudamore prefers him to stablemate Peut Etre Sivola, who is a proven stayer. Vamizi, Ammunition, Bertie May and River Indus are all previous course winners but the one to beat may be RAISE YOU FIVE, who has been put up 8lb for a narrow win at Southwell but is very lightly raced and looks just the type to excel over this kind of distance.
