In depth

Verdict

It’s a long time since Dicky Bob last ran under Rules but Verity Nicholls’ veteran did beat today’s rival Heaney by 25 lengths in a Mixed Open at Kilworthy last month. Glen Roe won a maiden hurdle at Hexham in the autumn but that form has sent out mixed messages and it remains to be seen how he’ll cope with fences given his form between the flags. HERBERT PARK has run three times here, winning two and finishing second in the other. He ran a nice race behind the useful Virak on his return to action and can go one better today.
