In depth

Verdict

SHANTOU ROCK (NAP) looked well ahead of the handicapper at Ludlow last week and it’s no surprise that he’s turned out again quickly under a penalty. A hat-trick beckons for Dan Skelton’s novice if he’s in the same mood, though Wishfull Dreaming would be a danger with a clear round as he was travelling strongly in front when falling at Taunton last time and has been left on the same mark. Westendorf disappointed at Ascot and it’s difficult to imagine he’ll have the pace for this while Sirop De Menthe and Lettheriverrundry have lost their way.
