THE GLANCING QUEEN is a useful mare and she had no trouble landing the odds over a shorter trip at Bangor after a solid third in the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle at Newbury in which Wilde About Oscar was pulled up after making mistakes. Breffniboy has enjoyed a terrific season, winning five times. He’s now rated 30lb higher than in October but has done all of his winning in handicaps. Oscar Elite needs the mud and much further than this but Iron Mike is improving and Yggdrasil has been highly tried so far.
