Verdict

This looks to be a good opportunity for Rose Tina to finally break her maiden tag. The Brendan Powell-trained mare has been knocking on the door lately and handled the fast ground well when second at Taunton last time. A 5lb drop gives her a great chance here and she can score. Tony McCoy partners Ivorsagoodun for Martin Pipe and the pair are sure to have their supporters. A first-time visor might be enough to galvanise the gelding to greater efforts than of late, but he has been upped 5lb for a placed effort at Plumpton last time and will have to perform above himself to land this. Of the remainder, Aleemdar was useful in Ireland and likes the ground, but looks exposed over here, while Beauly, a course and distance winner last time out, has gone up 3lb as a result. This looks a tougher assignment, but he loves the ground and could give the selection most to do.
