Verdict

Exmoor Ranger wasn't stopping last time out and he gets the vote to win again and complete the hat-trick, at the main expense of Overclear and Georgian King. Josh Guerriero showcased his talents as a horseman when managing to steer his charge to victory last time, despite the saddle slipping and losing both of his irons. He will be hoping for a smoother passage today from this improving gelding and with the longer trip not expected to cause any problems, then he should go close. Overclear also has a penalty and on official ratings he is the best horse, however his rating may flatter him somewhat as he finished close to Group Captain earlier in the season. Forest Silver is consistent but has a bit to find on the ratings, whilst Fly Direct has shown ability and needs watching in the betting. Georgian King looks the pick of the Alan King duo and he ran well when third to The Vicar at Huntingdon and should be a major player here. At a price Brave Face, a former winning pointer may go close, however it is Exmoor Ranger who receives the vote.
