Verdict
JARVEYS PLATE has to give plenty of weight away but the 7lb claim of Liam Harrison will make life considerably easier and he's taken to land back-to-back successes following a battling success in a competitive, good-quality Newbury handicap last month. He seems to have taken quite some time to recapture his form but as a consequence now looks favourably treated off a mark of 140. The jury is currently out on Ruthless Article and he's best watched, whilst Nordano and Cotswold Way have proved disappointing this term, so last month's Fontwell scorer, the lightly-raced Jersey Wonder, looks the main threat despite stepping up to this trip for the first time.
