Verdict

This should really only involve three in Nacarat, Private Be and SILVERBURN, with the vote going to the last-named. The well-regarded Silverburn, a full brother to star Denman, was quite a strong fancy for the Boylesports at the recent abandoned Cheltenham meeting. He comes here on the back of a fair effort in the Paddy Power, where a couple of iffy jumps stunted his progress. Also possible that he'll come on for that run, he rates a bet. Private Be is only rated 5lbs inferior to the selection, and a winner at the track before, he must be of interest. He has more experience over fences, including when third in the Paddy Power ahead of Silverburn, but he has been beaten since. Nacarat was pulled up when last seen but ran some good races last season and is talented if somewhat inconsistent. Keepthedreamalive, a course winner, is the only other to consider, but this looks a good race and one that Silverburn can win.
