        Verdict

        Sporazene gets the confident vote to open his account over fences at the first time of asking with Dempsey and Master Papa heading the list of dangers. The selection was the best of these over hurdles has reportedly schooled well at home and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Dempsey rates the main danger he is from a yard in top form and was a fair sort over hurdles. However his best form is on fast ground and he would not want any more rain so for that reason he is opposed. Master Papa is another worthy of respect but he has a little to find on hurdles ratings with the principals and he will need to improve for the switch to fences to score. Of the remainder Fool On The Hill was a fair second behind Fontanasi when last seen over hurdles and is another with place claims. Of the remainder Madam Flora is from a shrewd yard and is one to note in the market but for the winner we return to the unexposed Sporazene.
